The update marks the platform's most significant evolution since launch, introducing collaborative and democratic team prioritization alongside a fully redesigned intuitive prioritization experience.

Until now, 1st things 1st excelled at helping individuals think through complex choices. Version 4 extends that power to groups. Teams can now prioritize together in two distinct modes:
- Collaborative mode — participants work on a single shared prioritization in real time, ideal for workshops, sprint planning, or any decision where the team needs to move as one.
- Democratic mode — each participant works independently, and the platform combines the results into a consensus score. This approach captures the genuine spread of team opinion without the distortion of group pressure or loudest-voice dynamics.
Both modes are available across the platform's two core toolsets: Intuitive Prioritization for gut-feel, fast decisions, and Smart Prioritization for analytical, multi-criteria evaluation.

A smoother intuitive experience
The Intuitive Prioritization toolset has been redesigned from the ground up. These are independent options, not a fixed sequence—and drag-and-drop doubles as a way to fine-tune results from either of the other two methods.
